Connections ROTHESAY BAPTIST CHURCH PROCESS FOR MEMBERSHIP/BAPTISM

Attendance at our New Connections Class
(completion of the membership manual, reading of the Church constitution
and statement of faith is required prior to coming to the class)

Be prepared to share your tesimony of faith in Christ with a member of the Ministry Staff or Deacon Board

Approval by the Deacon Board

Approval by the Congregation

Details of the process for membership and baptistm

Attend a New Connections Class The next New Connections Class will be held ----. The interviewing process for membership and baptism will take place during our New connections class. Registration is required to attend The Membership manual is available and must be completed prior to attending the class to give you a better understanding of the Ministry at Rothesay Baptist and to help you discover your Spiritual Gifts. There will be an opportunity for discussion and interaction with Pastor Taylor and other staff members.
Share your Testimony - You will have the opportunity to share your testimony of how and when you first invited Christ into your life with a member of the Ministry Staff or Deacon Board at the New Connections Class Meeting.
Approval by the Deacon Board - Upon completion of your interview, and based on the recommendation of the Ministry Staff, the Deacon Board will approve you for membership.
Approval by the Congregation - Based on the recommendation of the Deacon Board the congregation will give final authorization to your membership.
